Konan Hara is a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy and EPIC. He is interested in addressing policy-relevant issues with a focus on applied microeconomics. His main research fields are energy and environmental economics, industrial organization, econometrics, and health economics. Konan earned a PhD in Economics from the University of Arizona in 2024. He received a BA in Medicine, an MD, and a PhD in Public Health from the University of Tokyo.
