Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering

Master of Engineering in Energy and Sustainability

Lead the energy transition

In the Energy and Sustainability track, you will develop conceptions of the structure, physics, and properties of energy storage materials, understand how these properties emerge from molecular-level interactions, and how this understanding can be applied to design materials for a more sustainable world. The core courses are shared among the cohort, with specialized electives available. In the electrochemistry lab, you’ll develop the hands-on skills you’ll need to study the structure, properties, and dynamics of energy storage devices.

This track suits candidates interested in: battery engineering and recycling, sustainable materials, water preservation and reclamation, and electrochemistry.
